Dakota 76 Safari .458 Lott w/ Swarovski Z6i - used

Outstanding condition Dakota 76 Safari chambered in .458 Lott with a Swarovski Z6i 1-6x24mm scope mounted in Talley non-QD rings. Weight is 11lbs 2oz with scope mounted. This rifle is built in the classic African big bore form with banded/hooded front sight, banded front sling mount, quarter rib with single stand leaf rear express sight, drop belly magazine with hinged floorplate and Oberndorf-style bow-mounted release. Safety is the scope-friendly Model 70-style 3-position. The stock is made of well-figured European walnut with ebony tip and three point-pattern checkering panels on the forearm. The grip has a point pattern checkering panel on each side with a fill-in pattern on top, behind the receiver tang. Dual recoil cross bolts are ebony capped. Steel grip cap is blued with a centrally-mounted gold roundel bearing Dakota's "DA" logo. The rear sling mount is inletted flush on the toe line. Dual recoil cross bolts are ebony capped. Recoil pad is by Pachmayr, and is stiff enough to properly handle the .458 Lott's recoil.

The stock finish is in excellent condition, showing only a couple of the very faintest handling marks aside from one scratch behind the ebony tip at the bottom. There are zero cracks or other structural compromises apparent. The metal finish is in as-new condition. The rifle comes as photographed, sans case.
