Placing an Order
  • Can I order online and pick up in store?
    • We do offer in-store pick up. To use this service, please select 'In-Store Pickup' as your shipping method during checkout. You will receive a call when your order is ready for pickup. Please bring a valid photo ID to checkout counter, and we will retrieve your order. The name on the ID must match the name on the order, please to not send a proxy.
  • Can I make changes to my order after it is placed?
    • Simply give us a call at +1 (713) 333-3474 and we can make any changes you request.
Shipping
  • How are firearms shipped?
    • Gordy & Sons will ship to a third party FFL dealer where you can pick up your firearm. A list of FFL dealers near you is available at checkout. Gordy & Sons does not ship to states if prohibited by law.
  • Where does Gordy & Sons ship?
    • Gordy & Sons ships to the Continental United States. For all other areas, please contact us at +1 (713) 333-3474.
  • How much will it cost to ship my order?
    • Shipment costs are caculated based on weight and distance. Orders over $150 qualify for free shipping, excluding large items and ammunition.
  • When will my order be shipped?
    • Most orders are shipped within two business days.
  • How can I track my order?
    • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. If you have an account with the Gordy & Sons website, you may also log in to see the status of your order and track your package.
  • Does Gordy & Sons ship internationally?
    • We are currently not offering international shipments from our website. If you are an international customer, you can call us at +1 (713) 333-3474 and we will be happy to help facilitate your purchase.
FFL Transfers
  • We charge $100 for any FFL transfer to Gordy & Sons. Please contact jason@gordyandsons.com for exchange of FFL certificates. Do not initiate a FFL Transfer without contacting us prior to shipment.  All transfers must be approved beforehand.
 
Returns & Refunds
  • What is Gordy & Sons' Returns and Exchanges Policy?
    • Our return policy is 30 days from the date received and must include a copy of your receipt or packing slip.
    • There are no returns on new firearms or our Heritage firearms. For other guns, they must be returned to your local FFL dealer. There is a three-day inspection period that starts the day the gun is delivered to the FFL that is receiving the firearm on your behalf.
    • For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on ammunition.
    • Items must be in new condition, including all tags and packaging, free of stains and wear.
    • Items must have been purchased at full price, no discount or sale items.
    • Shipping rates and shipping insurance are consumable costs of online orders and are non-refundable
    • You can bring your merchandise to our store for a return, or initiate an online return or exchange HERE.
  • How long will my exchange take?
    • As soon as the returned merchandise is received, we will immediately begin the exchange process and you will have your shipment back out to you within three business days.
