We're thrilled to host gunmakers Peter Hofer and Grant Buchan of David McKay Brown at Gordy & Sons for a "Meet the Makers" event on January 17th and 18th.

Peter Hofer is an Austrian gunmaker specializing in custom rifles and shotguns. His designs are one-off, extremely intricate and detailed and require a painstaking amount of time to completion. 

Grant Buchan took over McKay Brown in 2021 and hasn't missed a beat. David McKay Brown is a Scottish builder best known for beautifully handcrafted roundbody side by sides. Grant and his team also handbuild unbelievable over and unders as well as double rifles. 

Peter and Grant will be in store both days with some of their finer guns to show off. Come meet them, ask as many questions as you'd like and enjoy the company of some amazing builders. 

We'll let them grab a bite for lunch each day, so please be aware they may have stepped out if you come midday!
