Excellent condition Parker-Hale Safari chambered for the venerable .404 Jeffery. Overall condition is excellent, with only the slightest scattered handling marks apparent upon close-up inspection. Weight is 9lbs 4oz. The rifle appears to have been built on a Santa Barbara action. The stock features a Monte Carlo comb endemic to the period, with a schnabel tip and factory original Parker-Hale recoil pad (almost certainly made by Pachmayr).The magazine is of proper one-piece construction with an Oberndorf-style hinged floorplate and bow-mounted release. The two-position safety and Talley bases make for easy scope mounting. The front sight is ramped and hooded, paired to an island-mounted rear with a single standing leaf. The barrel bears the Birmingham proof mark and "Legacy Sports Inc. Cortland N.Y. Parker-Hale Ltd. Birmingham England" engraved on the top, forward of the rear sight. The rifle comes as photo'd, sans case.
