A heritage true pair of cased Purdey side by side 20 bore self-opening ejector guns with 28” solid concave rib barrels. Both guns are choked improved cylinder and modified and 15 ¾” length of pulls over checkered butts.
Both guns sport straight English stocks, double triggers on a square bar action, auto-safety, traditional Purdey safety catch, gold-lined cocking indicators, beaded edge trigger guards, drop points, removable striker discs, and vacant gold ovals. Top levers, barrels, and forearm tips numbered in gold. The guns were proofed in London in 1989 with 2 3/4" chambers.
Allison Hunt engraved fine rose and scroll engraving and carved oak leaves on the fences. The guns retain nearly all of their case-hardened colors. Excellent bluing and bores. Near excellent exhibition grade walnut stock and forearm with a couple small chips on gun 1 forearm edges. Top levers slightly left of center, on face, and ejectors in time on both guns.
