The Invictus brings further refinements in handling and mechanics to the already excellent baseline established by Caesar Guerini’s standard guns. The heavier receiver and monoblock add significant mass to the center of the gun, both reducing recoil and smoothing the swing while making the gun even more capable on fast crossers and close rabbits. The beefier locking system provides for an approximately 50% greater service interval. All of this is backed by Guerini USA’s lifetime warranty and Pit Stop Program through their full service gunsmith shop.

The Invictus IX Sporting features the usual ventilated side ribs and top rib, front and mid beads, an adjustable trigger blade, rubber recoil pad, and a solid (non hollowed-out) buttstock that accommodates the optional Kinetic Balancer that acts to both tweak balance and reduce recoil even further. In addition to the exceptionally beautiful engraving pattern, upgraded wood, and long-tang trigger guard, the Woodward style extended forearm iron adds additional weight to the middle of the gun which further improves the already excellent handling of the Invictus series.
