The Chapuis Iphisi represents the entry to the market of well-built and properly-regulated double rifles in African calibers, this example being a svelte .450/400 (3”) with 26” barrels. The 9.3lb average weight and well tapered barrels lends the rifle a nimble feel that carries more easily than many other .450/400s on the market. In addition to traditional express open sights with additional leaves, the quarter rib is pre-cut with removable sections to accommodate Talley Screw Lock scope rings. Weight averages at 9 ¼ lbs.
