Engraved Dakota Arms Model 76 Traveler takedown bolt action rifle in .338 Lapua and .416 Rigby two-barrel set. Both barrels measure 24”. Length of pull of 14 1/16” over a black Decelerator recoil pad. The 76 action utilizes unique threadless disassembly mechanism which allows the rifle to be taken apart for convenient traveling.

Two-piece well figured English walnut stock with a Prince of Wales grip and an ebony forend tip. Three position safety, jeweled bolt, three-panel checkered bolt, hooded ramp front sight with flip up night sight, quarter rib rear sight with one standing leaf, inside the bow release for the engraved steel floorplate, engraved crossbolts, engraved skeleton grip cap, barrel band sling swivel, inlet rear sling swivel stud, borderless fleur-de-lis and ribbon checkering on the wrist and forend, beaded cheekpiece, and engraved 30mm Talley QD rings. The rifle is housed in a maker’s aluminum travel case. Also included is a copy of the original order for the rifle with Dakota Arms from 2013.

Engraved with black leaf scroll. Blued action, barrel, and furniture. The rifle remains in excellent overall condition. Crisp checkering and the stock remains in excellent condition with minor scratches consistent with light field use. Excellent bluing on the barrel. Excellent bore with sharp and crisp lands. A formidable setup for both plains game and dangerous game.
