We're thrilled to welcome Mr. Chico Fernandez to Gordy & Sons on Saturday, April 27th.

Chico, originally born in Havana, Cuba, found his way to Florida at a young age and spent his youth chasing fish with his pals.

He's written two extremely popular books, Fly Fishing for Bonefish, and Fly Fishing for Redfish, and is widely renowned as an expert in all-things saltwater fly fishing.  Chico has been featured on numerous TV shows and podcasts, including Andy Mill's MillHouse Podcast.

An expert fly tyer as well, Chico has designed some killer flies that have caught uncountable species accross the globe.

Chico will be at Gordy & Sons at 1pm to chat, sign books and talk fly fishing all afternoon. He'll do a saltwater casting demonstration down at the pond at 5pm, and then we'll head inside at 6pm for a presentation on fishing Florida, the difference in how the upper and lower Everglades fish, bonefish and redfish tactics, and more.

We'll have some light snacks and drinks available for everyone in attendance, as well as books available for purchase / signing as well.  We'll see you there!
