A new cased Purdey side by side 20 bore ejector gun with 30” raised rib barrels. The gun is choked modified and full. 15 ¼” length of pull over a checkered butt.
Straight English stock, double triggers on a square bar action, auto-safety, drop points, single small brass front bead, gold inlaid “SAFE” by the traditional Purdey small button safety catch, vacant gold oval, gold-lined cocking indicators, and rolled edge trigger guard. The gun was proofed in London in 2010 with 2 ¾” chambers.
Engraved by Greg Goodwillie and Able Nowakowski with small scroll and game scene cameos. The larger cameo, on the left side, shows a shooter at a fence with two setters and the smaller cameo shows a setter with a flushing pheasant. On the right side, the larger cameo shows a shooter looking at flushed grouse at a distance with a brace of grouse over his shoulder and two setters by his side. The smaller cameo on the right side shows a setter with a flushing grouse. The underside shows two flushing pheasants with two setters pointing in set position. The trigger guard is engraved with a running brown hare. Silver finished action and furniture. Exhibition grade walnut stock. Top lever right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
