Used F.T. Baker 28 bore hammer gun with 28” Damascus barrels. The gun is choked full and full. Length of pull of 14 15/16” to a leather covered pad.

Straight English stock, double triggers, backaction locks, rebounding hammers, springed nipples, top lever, extractor, snap on forend, slightly raised concave game rib with single brass front bead, checkered wrist (wraparound) and forend with mullered borders, and an initialed silver oval on the toe line. The gun was reproofed in London in 1990 with 2 ½” chambers. Chambers measure at 2 ¾”.

Scroll engraving on a silvered action and blued furniture. Well figured walnut stock. Excellent overall condition. The right bore shows some pitting. The wrist shows previous repairs and one unrepaired crack which would merit attention. The Damascus barrels show excellent pattern and browning. Refinished stock, forend, and checkering show minimal sign of use. Top lever slightly left of center and the barrels are slightly off face.
