Used Merkel 201 E 12 bore over and under ejector gun with 28” barrels. Briley chokes installed. Length of pull of 14 9/16” over a black plastic butt plate.
Pistol grip with a grip cap, double triggers with front articulated, non-auto safety, double Kersten locks serve as the third bite, pin cocking indicators, hold open top lever, scalloped and bolstered action, beaded pancake cheekpiece, three-piece forend, sling swivels, matted solid rib with white mid and front beads, checkered wrist and forend with mullered borders, and a Deeley forend release latch. The gun is housed in a custom aluminum case with blue lining. Nitro proofed at the Suhl proof house in May of 1983.
Engraved with scroll and game scene vignettes. Flushing mallards on right and flushing partridges with a pointing setter on the left. Silver finish action and blued furniture. Stocked with exhibition grade walnut. Stock and forend show only very minor handling marks with no sign of field use. Crisp and clean checkering. Pristine bores and bluing on barrels. Top lever in center position, on face, and ejectors in time.
