The Beretta 688 Performance Sporting is the 21st Century rebirth of the much-loved wide body Model 682 from the early 1990s. The combination of laminate wood stock and wider, heavier receiver result in lighter recoil and a smoother swing. The choke system, as used in the DT11 and SL3 Sporting, is Beretta’s proven OptimaChoke HP which provides very consistent patterns due to its gradual taper and optimized parallel section.
