Used Browning Superposed Midas grade 28 bore gun with 28” barrels. The gun is choked skeet in both barrels. Length of pull of 14 1/8” to a Browning hard plastic butt plate.
Square knob short tang (SKST) stock, single selective mechanical trigger, non-auto safety, ejectors, cross-filed vent rib, large white front bead, gold trigger, fluted comb, and Midas grade checkering on a well figured walnut stock with feather crotch. Gold inlaid “S”, “U”, and “O” by the safety catch/barrel selector. Western style grip cap with name. Belgian proofed 1967 gun with 2 ¾” chambers.
Engraved and double signed by A. Dierckx with Browning’s Midas grade engraving. Gold inlaid game birds in low relief with medium acanthus scroll also in low relief. Both the action and furniture are blued. The gun is in excellent overall condition. The stock and forend in excellent condition with hardly any scratches and compression marks. Checkering remains crisp and clean. Excellent bluing on barrels with mirror-like and pristine bores. Non salt wood gun (tested). Top lever right of center, the gun is on face, and the ejectors are in time.
