A heritage cased Purdey side by side 12 bore bar-in-wood hammer gun with 30” barrels. Choked skeet and improved cylinder. 15 5/16” length of pull over a black leather pad.

Straight English stock, double triggers, rebounding hammers, extractors, plain game rib with a single brass bead, drop points, vacant gold oval. This antique gun was made in 1875 and has the Oxford Street address on the rib. Re-proofed in London in 2002 with 2 3/4" chambers.

Fine scroll engraving. Silvered action and locks. Well figured walnut stock. Excellent browning on barrels with some pitting under the forearm. Excellent stock with checkering freshened up. Excellent bores with some pitting in chambers. The gun is slightly off face and top lever remains right of center.
