Softex is the first body forming adhesive formulated specifically for fly tying applications. The solvent based, high tech formula eliminates the problems and difficult steps associated with traditional "industrial" products that we have adapted to the art - mixing, rotation, yellowing, and the sting of a heavy fly hitting you in the back...or head!

With Softex there is no need for a tier to play kitchen chemist. A jar of Softex will provide a variety of fly body character from the start to "thickened" finish. If needed, "fresh" Softex can be used to adjust the viscosity of a jar left open. Remeber "put the lid on the jar before putting the Softex on the fly"!

Softex allows you to tie flies that are more accutate, easy to repair and feel "real" to the fish.
